In Fruiting Body, plaster cast hands, foraged mushrooms, dried roots and berries, kombucha SCOBYs, and blown glass vessels are arranged as fragmented pieces of organic and inorganic material. The ambiguity of the abstracted forms imagines a narrative of intertwined social, ecological, and built environments. Therefore, the work becomes a space for both internal healing and external belonging.
